Pro Bono

Pro bono is a Latin phrase for professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment. Unlike traditional volunteerism, it is a service that uses the specific skills of professionals to provide services to those who are unable to afford them, for public good, especially legal work for a client on low income.

The Constitution of India by virtue of Article 39 A directs the State to provide free legal aid to the poor and weaker sections of the society, to promote justice on the basis of equal opportunity. Further, Article 14 and 22 (2) of the Constitution ensures equality before law.

Offering pro bono legal services to those who need them most is part of what gives our firm a human touch. Many charitable and community-based organizations benefit from our firm’s pro bono legal services.
